About Us
Julia + Elizabeth was founded in 2009, on the premise that seating should be great design, comfortable, versatile and at the same time functional.
We're a mother-daughter team who believes women's homes and home offices should reflect their personalities: thoughtful, & unique. After years in the office furniture industry (mother) and years spent sitting in ugly offices around the country as a corporate lawyer (daughter), we built Julia + Elizabeth to create chairs that women actually want to sit in, upholstered in high-end fabrics we know are beautiful. Whether it's a home or a home office, women's spaces should foster creativity, not squelch it.
Our company blends a designer’s eye with an attorney’s precision. Our mother’s lifelong passion for interiors and our daughter’s professional background in law create a unique partnership rooted in creativity, quality, and care. We believe a home should be more than functional—it should be a place you love to live in, a space that expresses who you are and brings beauty into everyday life.
